A Very Fairy Princess Party

Young princesses are invited to attend a fun party on Saturday July 31st in celebration of A Very Fairy Princess, a new book by Julie Andrews and her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton. There will be a reading of this delightful book followed by tiara decorating, "royal" games and snacks.

A Very Fairy Princess (Little, Brown $16.99)is an empowering story. While her friends and family may not believe in fairies, Geraldine knows, deep down, that she is a VERY fairy princess. Friday the 13th might be scary to some people but Magic Tree thinks it's a lucky day for members. On most other days, members save 10% or 12% if they remember to bring their Magic Tree reusable bag. Friday the 13th will yield savings of 13% (excluding already discounted items and gift certificates) with purchases on books, games, puzzles, plush, and so on. So, if you've had your eye on that wonderfully wrinkly elephant puppet or that Little Prince Pop-up or ???, Friday the 13th is your lucky chance to snag that heart's desire and save $$$.

Play Catching Fire, The Game

Waiting for Mockingjay? Do you have what it takes to be a Hunger Games Candidate? Come and participate on a life-sized gameboard! This game was developed for us exclusively--not available anywhere else. There is a limited number of tribute slots available but extra players can be sponsors, commentators, and so on. Justin Somper, Vampirates Author Visit

Magic Tree is happy to once again welcome Justin Somper to Oak Park on Tuesday, Sept. 28 for an evening presentation and signing. His latest Vampirates book, Empire of Night is scheduled to be released late August.

Justin Somper is a bestselling author in the UK. His Vampirates books have received international acclaim and have been published in over 20 languages. He lives in London.

Empire of Night (Little, Brown $15.99): After the surprising revelation of the Tempest family history, twins Connor and Grace face a newly-defined future marked by their Vampirate roots.
